Meet the Designer

Lumière de Genève is a small family-and-friends business from Geneva. A young couple, Erika and Ouissem, lead it: Ouissem hand-pours every candle and creates the scents, Erika looks after the design, and family and friends chip in wherever they can.

Balsam, cistus and myrrh, a heart of vanilla, iris and tonka bean, and a warm amber-musk base – Flamme Éternelle is deep, enveloping and made for long evenings. Poured by hand in Geneva by Erika and Ouissem, the young couple behind Lumière de Genève.

  • Scent family: balsamic, woody, oriental
  • Top notes: balsam accord, cistus essence, myrrh essence
  • Heart notes: vanilla, iris, tonka bean
  • Base notes: amber, musk, oriental accord
  • Weight: 200 g or 400 g
  • Burn time: approx. 35 hours (200 g) or 70 hours (400 g)
  • Composition: fragrance, soy wax, natural stones and flowers; one wooden wick
  • Fragrance: CMR-free, phthalate-free, suitable for vegans and cruelty-free; contains vanillin
  • Vessel: reusable metal tin
  • Made: by hand in Geneva by Lumière de Genève
  • Good to know: as the wax is 100% plant-based, it may change colour after burning.
  • Care: remove the flowers and stones before lighting; on first use, burn for about 3 hours to avoid tunnelling; read the safety label underneath the candle.
