Meet the Designer

Minorquines was founded in 2012 by French creator Anne to share the Menorcan avarca tradition with a contemporary touch. The sandals are made in Spain, in a family-run traditional workshop whose love of shoes goes back to 1929.

Sandals in neon pink leather.

The original model of the famous Menorca sandals invented by the peasants of the island of Menorca in the 50s, redesigned in soft leather with a light sole made from rubber with a tyre-tread print. The end of the foot is opened and the position of the heel strap makes sure the foot is held in place.

Styling tip: Wear them with white jeans and a navy top for a bright pink touch.

  • Colour: fluo pink
  • Upper: soft nappa leather
  • Sole: rubber with tyre-tread print
  • Heel: 5 mm
  • Care: remove dust with a brush or a soft, dry cloth; nourish the leather now and then with a natural wax

Available in sizes 36, 38, 39 and 40. Minorquines advises choosing your exact size, as the leather adapts to your foot. With half sizes, go down for narrow feet and up for wider feet.
