Meet the Designer

Beatrice Lusso grew up in Geneva in an Italian family, trained in Milan and worked for Vivienne Westwood in Italy before a 2020 lockdown clear-out of her mother's wardrobe turned up a stack of unworn silk scarves. Giving them a second life as belts became Baltea — reversible belts and silk twillies, handmade in Italian ateliers, made to be restyled endlessly.

Wear it as a belt. Baltea began when Beatrice Lusso threaded her mother's forgotten silk scarves through her belt loops, and this tonal beige python is cut for exactly that — 120 cm of pure silk that knots at the waist, then moves to your hair, your wrist or a bag handle when you want it to.
