Mayana Designs was founded by Emily Wancier in 2022. Its beaded jewellery is handwoven in small batches with Japanese Miyuki glass beads by artisans in Medellín, Colombia.

We picked these Earth earrings for their warm, earthy colours. An ombre fringe of handwoven Miyuki glass beads in peach, orange and turquoise hangs from a hammered brass arch, which rests on 14K gold-plated hypoallergenic ear wires. They measure 7.6 × 2.5 cm and weigh under 10 g, so they stay comfortable all day. Each pair is handmade in Medellín, Colombia, by women artisans paid fair wages.
