Founded in Denmark in 2013 by Gitte and Kim Henriksen, Cofur was born from a journey through India and a fascination with the beauty of vintage silk saris. Inspired by the craftsmanship and stories woven into each textile, they chose to give these fabrics a second life rather than produce new ones.
Each sari is carefully sourced, washed, and transformed by skilled artisans in India into beautifully handcrafted garments. Because every piece is made from a unique vintage textile, no two creations are ever exactly alike.
By combining Scandinavian design with traditional Indian craftsmanship, Cofur creates timeless, sustainable fashion that celebrates individuality, heritage, and conscious living.
