One of a Kind Silk City Dress – Turquoise
This dress stopped us the moment we unpacked it. The turquoise-and-ivory wash feels like a watercolour painting come to life, and the hand-stitched sequin embroidery at the hem catches the light in the most beautiful way. It's the kind of piece that makes people ask "where did you find that?" — and the answer is genuinely: nowhere else. Cut from a single vintage silk sari, this exact dress will never exist again. It's sustainable, it's handmade, and it carries a story that fast fashion simply can't replicate.

Meet the Designer
Gitte and Kim Henriksen were a Danish couple who travelled, and kept coming back from India unable to forget the silk. They founded COFUR Denmark in 2013 to buy beautiful vintage saris and fabrics, hand-pick them for colour and print, and hand them to seamstresses who cut them into something new. Every piece is one of a kind. So is every woman who wears it.

- Size Guide
We fell in love with this dress the moment we unpacked it: Washed in soft turquoise and ivory tones that bleed gently into each other like watercolour on wet paper, this silk shift dress is cut from a single vintage silk sari — hand-dyed, hand-embroidered, never repeated. A neat mandarin collar, fine pintuck pleating across the chest and a scatter of hand-stitched sequins at the hem lift it from daywear to dinner without trying too hard.
It works with flat sandals and a straw bag for a long seaside lunch, then slips into cocktail hour with gold hoops and bare feet. Because it begins life as a one-of-a-kind sari, this exact piece will never exist again.
Material: 100% vintage silk, upcycled from an authentic Indian silk sari.
Care: Dry clean recommended. Cool hand wash if necessary. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron inside out.
One Size. A relaxed, straight-cut silhouette that falls above the knee, with a mandarin collar and button-through front.
