Caterina Orru designs for COLURi, a small, passionate team with one big wish: jewellery that helps you feel bold, confident and completely yourself. What is PVD coating?

PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition. It isn't classic plating: in a vacuum, a very fine, hard layer of 18K gold or 925 silver is bonded to the stainless steel. COLURi says it lasts up to ten times longer than standard gold plating. In everyday life that means you can shower, swim and go to the gym in your jewellery, and it keeps its colour – COLURi backs every piece with a 10-year warranty.
