Meet the Designer

De Siena was founded in 2010 by Francesco Lorenzi. The shoes are designed in Italy and made by hand by skilled artisans, with natural raffia, earthy colours and hand-embroidered details – made, as the brand says, for the city and the beach.

We love how the Semira Grano flats from De Siena mix texture and shine. These open-toe slides have a wide khaki strap with two layers of fringe, separated by a band of small studs. The footbed carries the De Siena logo, and stitched edges give them a neat finish. Khaki is an easy, earthy colour, so they work with most of what you already own.

Styling tip: Pair them with cropped jeans and a white T-shirt at the weekend, or with a flowing maxi skirt on holiday.
