Meet the Designer

De Siena was founded in 2010 by Francesco Lorenzi. The shoes are designed in Italy and made by hand by skilled artisans, with natural raffia, earthy colours and hand-embroidered details – made, as the brand says, for the city and the beach.

We picked the Saffia slides by De Siena for their bold mix of colour and shine. They're flat, open-toe slides with a wide fringed strap in deep green, crossed by a chunky gold-tone chain that catches the light. The footbed carries the De Siena logo, and neat whipstitched edges finish the look. They're easy to slip on and instantly make a simple outfit feel special.
